Abstract:In soybean research and breeding process, threshing, counting and weighing are usually necessary. Because of no relatively appropriative equipment, researchers usually thresh and grain the number and weight of each plant of soybean manually. Many problems exist in manual threshing and metering, such as grain splashing a lot in threshing and low reliability of data. Counting and observation need a long time, which easily cause the fatigue of eyes and brain and affect the accuracy of counting. In addition, beans need to be transferred in the artificial operation process. The inevitable error and low efficiency will affect the entire research process. The purpose of this study is to design and manufacture a device of small volume, simple structure, convenient operation, high precision, strong versatility and low cost. This device can thresh the single plant soybean, count and weigh the bean taken off at the same time.From the mission the machine has to complete, we analyzed the related equipment, technology and theory. The structural size and mechanical properties of the threshing material (soybean plant and POD) and the measurement object (PEA) were measured and analyzed, and the data about design was got.We design and reseach the main working parts of soybean single plant threshing machine with automatic metering with combined design method. This design includes the threshing device, separating device and counting device. With the performance test of the soybean single plant threshing machines and related measuring instruments, we made structure and parameter design, optimization and performance analysis of each working part.In the development process of the machine, AutoCAD software was used in the2D drawing. Meanwhile, the solidworks was carried out in modeling and kinematics simulation analysis of the prototype. In the last, we checked the space configuration and movement of the interference, and finished the design of the single plant soybean threshing machine with automatic metering. Threshing device to is created through the performance test of breakage and tested not to take off the net loss rate, the results show that the performance of threshing device has reached the design requirements. Compared with the results of similar threshing device test, the device can effectively avoid the occurrence of splash phenomenon of threshing material at the feeding entrance, grain broken skin and internal damage probability will be greatly reduced.
