In order to obtain camellia of cold resistance and introduct it to thebare land in northern China such as ZhengZhou, ShiJiaZhuang for cultivating.Physiological indexes of the different varieties’ camellia of domestic introduction toZhengZhou were determined in this test. Combined evidence of SSR molecularmarkers and temperature characteristic of the winter bud, the camellia varieties ofcold resistance were chose. SSR molecular marker genetic variance were analyzedbetween varieties picked out of cold resistance and Japanese camellia combined withleaf phenotype characteristics of each type, camellia of cold resistance were chose. The main test results are as follows:(1) Physiological and biochemical characteristics of domestic camellia ofdifferent varieties under low temperature stress were determined in this test. Throughprincipal component analysis, cold resistance of domestic camellia of6kinds is asfollows: C. sasanqua> C. nitidissima Chi> C. japonica ‘Gold Tray Litchi’> C.japonica‘Seven star’> C. japonica‘Joe leaves Seven star’> C. japonica‘Rolled-leafSeven star’.(2)①SSR molecular marker technique can be used to analyze geneticrelationships between camellia varieties.②According to the result of UPGMA clusteranalysis, that under the similarity coefficient of0.506varieties can be divided intotwo groups, namely C. japonica ‘Gold Tray Litchi’, C. sasanqua and C. nitidissimaChi were speciesⅠ, C. japonica‘Rolled-leaf Seven star’, C. japonica ‘Joe leaves Sevenstar’and C. japonica‘Seven star’ were species Ⅱ.(3)①Leaf buds of C. sasanqua and C. nitidissima Chi had no dormant, grew bestat25℃.②The terminal bud of C. japonica‘Seven star’ were not dormant bud, lateralbud was, At15℃the lateral bud grew best bud swelling after treatment under5℃-20dlow temperature.(4) Synthesizing leaf shape quantitative character factor and quality traits factorof Japanese camellia、C. sasanqua and Qingdao Camellia japonica, could be concluded that the Japanese camellia had little difference on leaf morphology, but wasdifferent from C. sasanqua and Qingdao Camellia japonica, difference was smaller inthe Japanese camellia of iwate region between C. sasanqua and Qingdao Camelliajaponica(5)①SSR markers was high polymorphism in camellia varieties, couldeffectively reflect the genetic relationship between varieties. SSR amplificationpolymorphic loci in camellia varieties mainly caused by the differences betweenvarieties, which could be used as a mean for close genetic relationship of camelliavarieties of effective analysis.②Under the similarity coefficient of0.55, that couldbe divided into two groups, namely the C. sasanqua and Qingdao Common Camelliaand Japanese camellia in iwate region were a grass, all other Japanese variety toanother grass.③With the provenance of camellia genetic distance was small, closegenetic relationship. The plant geographic distribution affected the genetic similaritycoefficient.
