Phosphorus (P) deficiency is a major yield-limiting constraint in wheatproduction,at the same time,Micronutrient malnutrition,particularly deficiencies inFe and Zn,afflicts over three billion people worldwide,the most effective way tosolve these problems is to breed high P and Zn、Fe efficiency wheat. In current study,47accessions of synthetic hexaploid wheat (SW,AABBDD) and9wheat alienchromosome addition lines wheat were used to investigate P and Zn、 Feefficiency.The results indicate:Three SW lines (SW23, SW24, SW26) had higher P efficiency; thehydroponic experment indicates the activity of acid phosphatase of2SW lines(SW23,SW24) were higher than CS under P-deficiency, the exudation of organic acidof2SW lines (SW23、SW26) were higher than CS under P-deficiency,3SW lines(SW23,SW24,SW26) were low-phosphorus tolerant cultivars because the lowerCmin compared with CS under P-deficiency.6addition lines (0226、0232、0244、0278、0282、0291) have higher P efficiencythan CS; the activity of acid phosphatase of5addition lines (0057、0026、0232、0274、0282) were higher than CS under P-deficiency, the exudation of oxalic acid of7addition lines (0226、0232、0244、0274、0278、0281、0291) were higher than CSunder P-deficiency, the exudation of malic acid of3addition lines (0244、0057、0281)were higher than CS,6addition lines (0244、0057、0226、0232、0278、0281) exudedsuccinic acid which had not been determined in CS.4addition lines (0226、0232、0244、0291) were low-phosphorus tolerant cultivars because the lower Cmincompared with CS under P-deficiency.All of the SW lines wheat had significantly higher grain Zn concentrationsthan ChangWu134and CS.3SW lines (45,46,47) had significantly higher grain Feconcentrations than ChangWu134;26SW lines (55%) had significantly higher shootZn concentrations and12SW lines (26%) had significantly higher shoot Fe concentrations than ChangWu134;22SW lines (47%) had significantly higher shootZn concentrations and2SW lines (20,23) had significantly higher shoot Feconcentrations than CS;6SW lines (7,34,41,42,43,47) had significantly higherroot Zn concentrations and20SW lines (43%) had significantly higher root Feconcentrations than ChangWu134;22SW lines (47%) had significantly higher rootZn concentrations and42SW lines (89%) had significantly higher root Feconcentrations than CS.From the above results,we can obtain:(1) the Aegilops tauschii (DD) havehigh P and Zn、Fe efficiency genes and they can be used for breeding high P and Zn、Fe efficiency wheat cultivars through hybridization.(2) the P and Zn、Fe efficiencyand their physiological mechanism were influenced by introgression of alienchromosomes. Therefore the addition lines with high P and Zn、Fe efficiency could beused for breeding high P efficiency wheat cultivars through wild hybridization.
