Capsaicam annuum is an Asteridae Solanaceae annual or perennial herb. It is one of our favorite vegetables. With the increasing of the Capsaicam annuum planting areas, virus infected phenomenons in Capsaicam annuum have become serious and caused losses of agricultural economy industry. In this experiment, we identified the classic symptoms in Capsaicam annuum infected by virus in Fancun vegetables planting base, Taigu, Shanxi province, and then cloned complete sequences of the virus. Results of sequencing showed that there was Broad bean wilt virus2in Capsaicam annuum leaves. And the name is BBWV2-Ca.In order to further classification status of the BBWV2-Ca, the complete sequence of BBWV2-Ca was cloned. The results showed that BBWV2-Ca has a typical Fabavirus genome organization, RNA1and RNA2. BBWV2-Ca RNA1comprised5929nucleotides with an open reading frame. BBWV2-Ca RNA1was from86.8%to97.3%with other Broad bean wilt virus2viruses in amino acid identity. Phylogenetic trees showed that BBWV2-Ca RNA1formed an independent branch with BBWV2-XJ14-3and BBWV2-RP3. Therefore, they were mostly closed. But they were far from BBWV1-Ben from Spain.BBWV2-Ca RNA2comprised3559nucleotides with an open reading frame. RNA2encode VP53/VP37, LCP and SCP, a total of three kinds of protein. BBWV2-Ca RNA2was from89.9%to97.1%with other Broad bean wilt virus2viruses in amino acid identity. Phylogenetic trees showed that BBWV2-Ca RNA2formed an independent branch with BBWV2-Am from China. Therefore, they were mostly closed. But they were far from BBWV1-Ben from Spain.
