To explore the differences of seed quality、seedling growth characteristics and theirdrought resistence of Sapindus mukurossi Gaertn from different provenances in Jiangxi, theexperiment of seed quality and seeding have been done from Nanchang,Yingtan,Taihe andJingan in Jiangxi provenance. As the seedling height、ground diameter、crown diameter anddrought resistence indexes of Sapindus mukurossi Gaertn were measured, the growthrhythm and drought resistence have been analysised and the best provenance has beenchanged which is fit in Nanchang. The main results are as follows:(1) In the four provenances, the seed quality of Yingtan is the best, then is Taihe andNanchang, Jingan is the worst in the four provenances. The hundred seed weight、lengthand width of Sapindus mukurossi Gaertn from Yingtan, the hundred seed weight ofNanchang is the lowest. The average seed moisture content of Sapindus mukurossi Gatrenis17.615g, the average of seed soundness is88.1%, whether the moisture content or theseed soundness, the seeds of Yingtan are much higher than other three provenances, andthe second is Taihe, seed soundness of Jingan is the worst in the four provenances; Thefield germination percentage of Sapindus mukurossi Gatren is41.31%on average, the fourprovenances from high to low in turn: Yingtan>Taihe>Jingan>Nanchang; Taihe andYingtan has seed emergence the first and Nanchang is the latest.(2) The growth rhythm appeared as the obvious S-growth curve. Both the largestseedling height and ground diameter growth are Taihe provenance and the smallest areJingan; The maximum of crown diameter appear in different time among four provenances,the maximum value of crown diameter in Nanchang、Taihe and Yingtan have been seen atthe end of August, Jingan appeares in the middle of September; Total biomass of Sapindusmukurossi Gatren of different provenances from high to small is:Yingtan> Nanchang>Taihe> Jingan.(3) The drought resistance of different provenances from high to small in turn is:Yingtan>Taihe>Nanchang>Jingan. With decreasing of soil moisture, RWC of Sapindusmukurossi Gatren in Jingan decrease by26.24%, while only19.89%in Yingtan; The SODactivity trend of leaves increased first and then decreased broadly both in Nanchang andYingtan, while Taihe and Jingan show a declining trend gradually; with the drought stressincreasing, the whole trend of Soluble Protein、MDA、fPro content of Sapindus mukurossiGatren leaves increased in different degree; Under the drought stress, Chlorophyll a、Chlorophyll b and Chlorophyll a+b have a similar change trend. Since the drought stressincreasing, the Chlorophyll content has the varying degree decline among the fourprovenances, the chlorophyll a+b content of Sapindus mukurossi Gatren leaves in fourprovenances from high to low in turn is: Jingan>Yingtan>Nanchang> Taihe. Energy forest as the breeding objective, seed quality、the growth characteristics of1Aseedling and drought resistance of Sapindus mukurossi Gatren as the consultion indexes,after comprehensive evaluated the four Sapindus mukurossi Gatren seedling, the soundnessis: Yingtan> Taihe> Nanchang> Jingan.
