In recent years,waxy corn cultivation is a new way for farmers and enterprises toincrease both production and income.Quality evaluation and breeding of fresh waxy corn isthe key problem of waxy corn industry development. In this study, the31waxy maize newmultiple combination of northwest (include control) was employed to study by using pathanalysis and principal component analysis,and using the taste identification analysis to judgequality.Then, employing grey correlation analysis for12waxy maize varieties (including thecontrol varieties) which have been tested in13test points of waxy corn regional trial inHuang-Huai-Hai Plain in2011, and compare new methods of the fresh waxy corncomprehensive evaluation. Through discussed the varieties traits of fresh waxy corn and thecomprehensive evaluation method,conclusions are as follows:(1) Grey system theory has been provided with practical significance for waxy cornbreeding and quality comprehensive evaluationCompared the methods of waxy corn evaluation, the grey comprehensive evaluationcould better used in evaluating fresh waxy corn varieties.The count of this method is simple,it can not be limited by sample size and could involve more analysis indexes.So greycomprehensive evaluation method can be used as supplement for combined variance and highstability coefficient analysis. Simultaneously, it could provide direct quantitative indexes inevaluating varieties. we can compare multiple combination at once. Grey system theory canalso be used to guide fine variety introduction and promotion.(2) There are two excellent multiple combination in the31tested new hybrid glutinousmaize lines and have been recommended to area test.According to comprehensive analysis of agronomic and quality traits, the comprehensiveprincipal components value of "30315(290Za×Xixinghongnuo)" is1.07, ranking thefourth and the total score of quality identification is87.9, ranking the third,another new line"30330(Zhongermu×Qinnuofu)",the comprehensive principal components value is1.75,ranking the first and quality identification total score is85.3, ranking the fourth. The above mentioned two hybrid glutinous maize lines are better than else in this research. |
