Since the introduction of the film in the domestic market, it is favored by farmers for its effective improving of the soil temperature, moisture and output. But the growing use of mulch also brought us a lot of problems, brought us soil environmental burden. However, the existing and promotion of degradable film has solved the shortcomings of ordinary plastic because of undegradable to some extent, and reduce the soil pollution partly. To study the agricultural characteristics of biodegradable plastic and pick over among different degradable films, the test used comparative method to compare the soil temperature, moisture and output by ordinary plastic, different degradable films and open filed under common natural conditions.The experimental results showed that:both the ordinary plastic and degradable mulch film can significantly improve the soil temperature, moisture so as to increase the production. However, the water retaining capacity under60cm is not obvious and the soil water content reaches the max between20and40cm, and with the soil depth deepen, the effect getting smaller, meanwhile, the groups of films can improve the stability of soil water retention.Among the several kinds of films in test of first year, the water retaining capacity of biodegradable plastic1and ordinary plastic were similar, the effects of all groups get inconspicuous after105days, the mulch on the soil0-25cm depth had obviously improved the soil temperature, with the increase of the depth and the passage of time, the effect of raising soil temperature was abate, and after56days,the preservation effect began to decline. The water retaining capacity of biodegradable plastic2get inconspicuous after77days because of its own structure and weather factors and warming effect had decreased after35days. The corn growth rates of ordinary plastic, degradable film1and2were19.5%,22.0%and13.1%, Degradable mulch1and ordinary film has similar significant effects on maize yield, but degradable film2shattered easily, so it should be fully considered about local climate condition before we choose to application.In the second year trial, water effect is not obvious under each treatment after the grouting period, the ordinary film is slightly better, among three kinds of degradable plastic, Shanxi number2is slightly better, the effects of Shanxi number1and2were similar, the mulch on the soil0-25cm depth had obviously improved the soil temperature, with the increase of the depth and the passage of time, the effect of raising soil temperature was abate, and after56days. The corn growth rates of ordinary plastic, Shanxi number1, Shanxi number2and Shanxi number3were24.80%、18.13%、21.97%and17.42%, however, among the three kinds of degradable films, the degradation velocity of Shanxi number1was the fastest, Shanxi number2was medial, Shanxi number3 was the slowest, the weight loss ratio of the three degradable films measured after100days arranged from large to small were Shanxi number1, Shnxi number2and Shanxi number3, as can be seen that among the three kinds of degradable films in this test, the degradation velocity and degree of Shanxi number1were the best, while its yield-increasing effect was the lowest, the degradation velocity and degree of Shanxi number2were in the middle, while its yield-increasing effect was the highest, the degradation velocity and degree of Shanxi number3were low, meanwhile its yield-increasing effect was also low, so in the three kinds of degrabadle plastic films, the effect of Shanxi munber2was similar to ordinary plastic, besides, it has better degradation ability so as to reduce soil pollution, so it can substitute for ordinary film used in production practice.We concluded from the2-year-experiment by means of test the maize output and degradion condition that the degradable plastic instead of ordinary film used in the production practice has great feasibility and inevitability, we could also find the optimal choice to apply.
