In this experiment, by using Chinese Dwarf Cherry bred form Shanxi Agricultural University as materials, the author conducted a preliminary exploration of its Year-round production. The main goals are as follow:1. Optimum storage temperatures and duration in refrigerators and other storage devices for Chinese Dwarf Cherry.2. Investigation of secondary flowering characteristics among different Chinese dwarf cherry varieties and evaluation of their potentials of being cultured without going through dormancy.3. Influence of different treatments on Chinese dwarf cherry bud dormancy before flowering.4. Exploration of influences of different artificial lighting to avoid secondary dormancy on Chinese dwarf cherry fruit and shoot growth.5. Exploration of deep dormancy breaking ways of Chinese dwarf cherry.6. Forcing cultivation methods of Chinese dwarf cherry after dormancy of at the late stage of dormancy which will contribute later.7. Pollen storage characteristics of different Chinese dwarf cherry species at different temperatures. The results are as follows:1. Comparing to the survival rates of Chinese dwarf cherry seedlings storied at0℃, the survival rates at-5℃will be lower and the growth potentials of basal shoots and branches will be reduced. Bare root seedlings storing is better than the matrix storing for Chinese dwarf cherry. Bare root seedlings of Chinese dwarf cherry variety ’Nongda No.4’ could be stored for over5months under0℃.2. Several varieties such as the ’Y04-26’,’Y03-09’,’Y23-04’,’Nongda No.7’,’Y03-08-1’ and ’03-25’ have obvious secondary flowering phenomenon, so they could be suitable for no dormancy cultivation.3. Spraying Cyanamid on dormant buds can effectively improve its germination rate and make it blossom and0.5%Cyanamid is more effective than1%.4. Continuous and uncontinuous light supplement could prevent Chinese dwarf cherry going into the secondary dormancy. Under continuous light supplement condition, fruit size and shoot length of Chinese dwarf cherry larger and bigger than discontinuity light supplement conditions, but there is no significant difference. 5. Cyanamide treatment can stimulates early germination and blossom of the flowering buds of Chinese dwarf cherry, but it has a negative effect on pollen viability and fruit set.6. The lower temperature is favorable for storaging of pollens of Chinese dwarf cherry. By putting the pollen in liquid nitrogen for5min pollen before storage the viability of pollens can be extended to a certain extent. Pollens of ’Nongda No.6’ and ’02-16’ Chinese dwarf cherry Cerasus are more suitable for long-term freezing than pollens of ’Nongda No.4’.
