| Eimeria brunetti is a strong chicken pathogenic parasitic protozoa, but epidemiology of coccidia reported rarely talked about Eimeria brunetti, biological characteristics related research reports more is uncommon. Therefore the introduction of this topic by using a single oocyst purification technology to obtain strains of E. brunetti Shanxi and its biological characteristics were studied. From pathogenicity, fecundity and immunogenicity of other aspects of E. brunetti do a more detailed study.(1) Purebred shanxi E.brunetti strain was got and its oocyst size was21.25μm-30.75μmx15.75μm~26.25μm and Average:25.94μmx21.06μm, shape index:1.23. its latent period was113h.(2) Researching the biological characterstics of E.brunetti find that:①When chicken were inoculated by E.brunetti with the dosage of1000oocysts per chicken, there was blood feces. E.brunetti precocious strains’dosage was20x104oocysts per chicken, their average weight gain was significant lower than that of control group (P<0.01).②The inoculated dosage was higher, the oocysts production was higher too, but the productivity of each oocyt was contrary.(3) Making immunization at different dosages when the chicken.The results indicated that:①The larger the immunizing dosage was, the smaller the weight gain was.②When the chicken was immunizated, they generated protection for100000at the dosage of100oocysts per chicken. |
