The level of its production is related to the whole food security about Lingchuan;reasonable rice paddy farming system is the guarantee to the steady and highly productionof rice. In order to understand the main cropping systems and paddy utilization, we readmuch literature and conducted an investigation; at last, we collect a lot of informationabout paddy farming systems. According to the results of the survey, although the paddyfarming systems in Lingchuan is diversified and explored many distinctive and specialmodels, but there are still many problems in paddy farming systems. Such as croppingpatterns are small-scale and low-level; fallow field area is larger; farmland reuse more thanmaintenance; paddy fields changing drought is serious;the mechanization level is low.There is an urgent need to adjust the paddy crop planting structure;increase the utilizationabout fallow paddy field; plant more green manure and spread soil and fertilizertechnology; strengthen the construction of water conservancy project; improve the level ofmechanization in paddy field.Many scholars research on this question about the development and utilization offallow fields in southern China, conducted that planting milk vetch, potatoes, canola andother crops in winter and returning those plants to the field can improve the rice production,increase organic matter content of soil, adjust the soil structure, improve soil fertility,especially to increase soil nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and other nutrients, and greenmanure crops can be used as a carbon source, it is benefit to the growth and reproductionof microbial, increase the soil microbial quantity, build a good microbiome. The authorstudied of different modes in double cropping rice area through field trials two years,conducted that compared with fallow rice yield planting potatoes, canola, milk vetchcrops can improve the production of rice, improve soil fertility and reduce the emissions ofcarbon. We compared foure winter crop planting mode, found that the mode of “potato-early rice-late rice'milk vetch-early rice-late rice” has the most significant is the bestmode.
