Prunus Mongolica Maxim is classified as a traditional eremophyte. Moisture of eremophyte has been a main limit that affects its growth and development. Prunus Mongolica Maxim grows flowers first and the leaves then both of them are bright-colored and much tolerant to drought. It has high values to gardening studies. My thesis based on growing conditions of Prunus Mongolica Maxim concludes its best way of irrigation under artificial planting; therefore it is feasible to artificially reproduce a great amount of Prunus Mongolica Maxim, and spread its application into view building of gardening. This experiment uses L16(4’)4-factor4-level orthogonal experimental design, does researches on different irrigation amounts and periods, culture mediums, as well as germination percentage and growth tendency of Prunus Mongolica Maxim according to the concentration. Experiments observed and proved facts of germination variation shown below:under150mm of irrigation amount and10days of irrigation period, germination percentage reaches its peak of90%; under250mm and30days it reaches93%; under350mm and5days it reaches80%; under450mm and5days it reaches87%; keep all periods as the same to5days and250mm of irrigation amount, it reaches87%when the proportion of culture medium sand, soil and dung is3:6:1; under same proportion when period is’10days and150mm of irrigation amount, germination percentage reaches90%; under20days and250mm the germination percentage reaches90%as well; under the condition of30-day irrigation period, the germination percentage can reach90%when changing proportion of them to4.5:4.5:1. In addition to germination percentage, this experiment also studies effects on Prunus Mongolica Maxim’s growth when the irrigation conditions are different. According to the experiment, plant height can reach its peak under150mm amount and20days period, leaf area is biggest under250mm amount and10days period, ground diameter is longest under250mm amount and10days period without root cutting. On the contrary250mm amount and20days period make the longest ground diameter with root cutting. The value of dry weight of almond nursery stock can be highest under250mm amount and30days period without root cutting. On the other hand, it reaches highest under450mm and10days with root cutting. In root cutting experiment adjusting statistics to350mm amount and20days period gets the greatest amount of moisture inside Prunus Mongolica Maxim’s nursery stock. In comparison of root cutting or not in root cap observation experiment, the former is bigger under150mm and10days, and the latter maximizes itself under450mm amount and5days period. By analyzing the results according to orthogonal experiments, the conclusion is that30days of irrigation period and250mm of irrigation amount are the best moisture condition for Prunus Mongolica Maxim to grow and develop. The conclusion is that5days of irrigation period and250mm of irrigation amount are the best moisture condition for Prunus Mongolica Maxim seed germination.During the experimental periods, we will be cutting roots of experiment number9and15in the morning on July22nd. The result shows that to ensure Prunus Mongolica Maxim have a constant survival rate we have to irrigate by times and big amounts. Generally450mm of irrigation amount and5days period create the highest survival rate.
