With the continuous development of science and technology the market competition is intensifying, the agricultural development of our country has entered a more competitive environment. The current domestic existing don’t adapt to the needs of the development of agriculture, traditional agriculture production efficiency and economic benefits are relatively low compared with the developed countries in the low level of the automation of agriculture. Basic rely on human labor, this not only waste of human resources and it also can real-time monitoring of plant status, no good place to plant growth.From a technical perspective, intelligent greenhouse will computer technology of modern control technology, microelectronics technology agricultural culture and scientific breeding fusion technology applied to traditional agricultural machinery vegetable greenhouses, it is a sign of agricultural informatization, is to promote an important part of agricultural modernization, to improve people’s material life level play an important role。In recent ten years, with the integrated circuit, wireless communications and the rapid development of modern sensor technology and application of low power consumption, low cost, the organization characteristics of wireless sensor network in the environmental monitoring, logistics tracking, medical care, family entertainment areas such as widely used, attention and personnel engaged in the work of wireless sensor network is more and more.Domestic and international current traditional agriculture does not adapt to the need of agriculture development in. In this paper, an intelligent greenhouse real time monitoring system based on ZigBee technology is designed. The system can complete the crops, the basic information acquisition, including a number of factors:the growth of plant, such as temperature, humidity, light intensity, soil.The formation of M2M gateway and the construction of sensor module and wireless communication module is based on micro2440core chip. With which, system can accurately acquire the data of temperature, humidity and light from sensors. Through the node, collected data will be tranfered to the M2M gateway for further processing and real-time data exchanging with the server. The system successfully achieved greenhouse information collection. Based on the data of each node, server construct webpage platform with B/S architecture to observe for changes in the greenhouse real-time. Results show that this designed intelligent greenhouse monitoring system can acquire accurate data real-time, so it has high practical value.The system USES ZigBee technology as a sensor network experiment system of wireless communication protocol. Considering the experiment system extensibility and promotional requirements, can be combined with the strategy, the power consumption of hardware system USES a TI’s wireless transceiver chip CC2430and nesC language. Finally, the function and performance of the whole system of comprehensive testing, the results show that performance of wireless sensor network experiment system is stable, hardware and software are comply with the design requirements.The whole design is divided into two parts including hardware design and software design. The hardware design mainly includes the M2M gateway module, data acquisition module, server module. Software design mainly including the design of communication protocol, sensor nodes program design, M2M gateway design. Sensor collected data through the computer screen display finally. In the process of the whole background processing need to compute:humidity, illumination, soil, heat fan, skylight, fan and other data.
