Explore On The Application Of Intelligent System In Sow Management

This experiment is a research on the behavioristic of swines and using effect of static Velos system and Gestal system,for a better understanding of pig’s behavior characteristics and finding the optimum way in using those two system in practise,so that we can make full use of modern intelligentize sow management system to know more about the pigs,and then make contribution to our product.Trial one:Those pigs were chosen from one core breeding field,and being separated in two grou,each of the group has75pigs.Named the group raised in the static Velos system with test group,and the one rasied in bars with control group.Try to explore the effect on growth and breed performance of using static Velos system by analysing those pregnant sows’feed consumption, backfat change and reproductive performance.The results show that:①Growth performance:Compared with control group,feed consumption and backfat change of test group are higher,but the difference is not that obviously (p>0.05)②Reproductive performance:The total born number of those sows in static Velos system is a little bit higher than those in the bars, but the difference is not that obviously (p>0.05).While,the period of delivery is significantly lower than control group (p>0.05),and the born alive number, litter weight and average birth weight is obviously higher than control group (p>0.05).Meanwhile,it is also shows that raised in the static Velos system can reduce the rate of midwifery, born to weak and the still birth of piglets.Trial two:This trail was implemented in a core breed field,pigs were separated in two group.Sows raised in the Gestal system were test group,while those raised by workers were control group.Each of those group has75pigs. We try to explore the effect of the Gestal system on the growth performance and breeding performance by recording and analysing the feed consumption,backfat changes and breed performance.And the results show that:①Growth performance:The Gestal system can improve the feed consumption and reduce the loss of backfat of those lactating sow highly significantly (p<0.01)①Reproductive performance:The weaning age of those piglets raised in Gestal system is a little bit bigger (p>0.05),but not obvious.And the weanning number,weaning litter weight and weaning weight of21d are higher than the control group highly significantly (p<0.01).In terms of the time between weaning and match,the test group is highly obvious shorter those in the test group (p<0.01).At the same time,it is shows that using Gestal system can also improve the survival rates of piglets,the weaning, mating,conception and delivery rates of sows.Trial three:This test was implemented in the core breeding field. Select65sows from those pigs raised in the Gastal system in the test two to make up the test group,and60pigs raised by workers were control group.Explore the effect on the reproduction performance of the sows in the next generation by record the breeding datas.The results show that:Sows raised in the Gestal system have shorter period of delivery time,higher born number and born litter weight,lower still birth rate,while the difference was not obvious (p>0.05).In terns of born living number and the born litter weight,the test group is higher than the control group significantly (p>0.05)Trial four:We implement this test in the core breeding field,26sows were chosen from the trail one’s group respectively.Those chosen from the Velos system were test group and the others were control group.Try to explore the effect on the behaviors of those sows by tracing and recording the position and behaviors of those pigs.The results shows that:①Position:In terms of stance,pigs raised in static Velos system are highly obviously less to do so (p<0.01), it is the same of the dog-sit position(p<0.05). Thus,the position of lying down is highly significantly higher than those in the control group (p<0.01)②Behavior:Sows in the static Velos system are more likely to walk normally and less likely to do the other things,while the difference is not obvious (p>0.05).In terms of biting bars,playing water and licking ground,pigs in test group are less likely to do so,and the difference is highly significantly (p<0.01).And the behavior of mulling over is obviously less than that in the control group (p<0.05).Walking and exploring is significantly more frequently than control group (p<0.01).
