In this paper, Xilamuren grassland of Inner Mongolia as the research object, select DAMAOQI on the East River region in BAOTOU, Inner Mongolia as the test farm. Though artificial scouring test on the field, collecting relevant data to understand the topography and hydrological conditions characteristic of the region. Sediment production process and study on soil infiltration-runoff-sediment yield process, different slope, initial soil moisture, vegetation cover, rainfall intensity and other factors on different processes. In this way, summary analysis of soil water infiltration and runoff, sediment yield laws and influencing factors in the region. The results indicated that:(1) Soil moisture infiltration process is a more complex process. With the increase in slope, infiltration decreases, initial infiltration rate gradually decreased gradually reaches steady state infiltration. The greater the initial soil water content, the more close to saturation, early infiltration rate is smaller, steady infiltration rate unchanged. To soil bulk density, the smaller the soil porosity, soil compaction more. Initial soil water content and soil bulk density increases have reduced soil infiltration capacity.(2) Slope runoff infiltration process is divided into stages catchment stage, stable stage and back stage four water course. Soil moisture and rainfall intensity will lead to an increase in production in order to increase the flow. Vegetation cover increases, the loss will affect early prolonged reduction in runoff. The main impact of the early loss of slope length of time, an increase in the slope of the time can be shortened early losses.(3) Slope sediment production processes affect vegetation cover, rainfall intensity and other factors affected. With the increase in rainfall intensity, runoff increased gradually increasing slope sediment yield. With the increase in vegetation cover and vegetation litter will have closure, reducing the amount of sediment, reducing sediment yield. Slope no direct impact on sediment yield, sediment yield fluctuated within a certain range change.
