| Abstract:Based on the investigation of basic state of development of Taizhou’s modern agriculture in recent years, the paper preliminarily summarizes main characteristics and practice of Taizhou’s modern agricultural development by adopting methods of investigations and empirical analyses. It points out problems with the development of Taizhou’s modern agriculture at present, as well as constraints in view of main problems of five aspects. The five aspects are as follows. Comparative interest of plantation is lower, scale of agricultural operation is smaller, and quality of agricultural labor force is not high. Besides, the ability to expand agricultural science and technology is not strong and infrastructure of cropland is weak. It makes Farmers’ production enthusiasm is not high, the agricultural industry scale is difficult to form, agricultural science and technology progress, seriously restrict the development of modern agriculture. The paper proposed relevant countermeasures. And on this basis, further clarifying development ideas, promoting construction of demonstration areas of high grain yields and further improving level of agricultural mechanized equipment have been raised. In addition, improving comprehensive productivity of the same industry, further strengthening carrier construction and promoting clustering of development of the industry have also been proposed. What’s more, the paper suggests further propelling technology’s capability to lead, as well as its support capability, further innovating system and mechanism and enhancing capacity of endogenous development, etc to promote development of Taizhou’s modern agriculture and provide it with theoretical support.Meanwhile, by analyzing data about crop protection over the years and conducting relevant tests, observation and investigations, the paper has determined occurrence and harmfulness of several main diseases and insect pests of rice(as Laodelphax striatellus, Rice sheath blight, Stripe virus disease, Cnaphalocrocis medinalis Guenee, Chilo suppressalis, Sesamia inferens) the staple food crop of Taizhou. There are four main ways to prevent Laodelphax striatellus and the stripe virus disease it carries. The first one is to plant more disease-resistant (disease-tolerant) breeds at the right time while decreasing the amount of highly sensitive breeds in order to lower the risk of disease outbreak. The second way is to adopt comprehensive measures, such as appropriately postpone the sowing time, cover the crops with insect proof nets, in order to avoid or reduce the probability of virus transmission from Laodelphax striatellus. The next one is to educate the public how to professionally prevent diseases and pests, improve the degree of plant protection and the coverage rate of control techniques. The last way is to kill the first generation Laodelphax striatellus during seeding period and during early stages, use different repellents at different time, implement control techniques in the whole course to decrease the insect base number and the harm on crops. To prevent the Rice sheath blight is another story. The process should mainly use agricultural control and at the same time, implement techniques such as population quality cultivation, scientific water management and in-time application of repellents. As for Cnaphalocrocis medinalis Guenee, three alternatives are proposed. The first alternative is to use insect-resistant (insect-tolerant) rice varieties, apply fertilizer rationally, scientifically control water usage, adjust cultivation time and reduce the field humidity during insect incubation period. The second alternative is to protect and utilize the natural enemies. Thirdly, use3%abamectin WP chemicals during incubation fastigium. To prevent Chilo suppressalis and Sesamia inferen, the basis is to take precautions and the key mean is to use repellents scientifically. Meanwhile, keep the greenhouses clean and leave pesticides in humid fields for3to5days.In the end, the paper suggests that we should not only stress the prevention of virus transmission insects, but also pay attention to the movements of "two-specific migration insects" Moreover, the prevention on Chilo suppressalis and Cesamia inferen should be a focus, in order to achieve stable and good rice harvests as well as food safety. |
