Streptococcus suis is the most common in veterinary clinical pathogens, type II based isthe most important, antibiotic therapy is traditional treatment. in recent years, the antibiotics hasbeen abused and other undesirable phenomena, resulting in drug-resistant strains ofStreptococcus suis is increasing seriously, and resistance is more and more enhanced.Theeconomic loss caused by the huge to the pig industry in our country. But also great security hasbeen brought risk to animal food industry. Therefore, it is the trend to develop a natural, green, low side-effect of antibiotics situation synergist. Chinese herbs and antibacterial drugcombination for the prevention of animal diseases have become an important part. The roleplayed from Chinese herbs has caused attention widely. According to the mechanism ofresistance Streptococcus suis to screen a synergistic inhibitory effect about ciprofloxacincombined with Chinese herbs, and to study its antimicrobial active ingredients and effectiveparts.1. To screen synegistic inhibitory effect about combine Chinese herbs with ciprofloxacinTo screen synergistic inhibitory effect of active ingredients from Chinese herbs combinedwith Ciprofloxacin against Streptococcus suis in vitro. Minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC)of water exact and alcohol extract from thirty Chinese herbs against streptococcus suis in vitrowere determined by two-double dilution method. Fractional inhibitory concentrations (FIC) ofwater exact and alcohol exact from thirty Chinese herbs combined with antibiotics againstStreptococcus suis were determined by constant checkerboard dilution method. The resultsshowed that water extract and alcohol extract from thirty medicine herbs have antibactierialeffect against streptococcus suis in certain extent. It is showen that some extracts such asalcohol extract, water extract of Eupatorium fortune Turcz, Berberine,Citrus aurantium,Turmerichave stronger antibactierial activity against on Streptococcus suis in vitro.2. To track antimicrobial active ingredients of extract of Eupatorium fortunei Turczagainst on Streptococcus suisTo track inhibitory effect from Chinese herds with synergistic inhibitory effect combinewith Ciprofloxacin against Streptococcus suis in vitro by organic extraction method. To Purifiedand track Chinese herbs with synergistic inhibitory effect combine with Ciprofloxacin by Silica gel column chromatography method. And inhibitory effect of pure substance on pf-cc in vitrowere determined by two-double dilution method. The results showed that Inhibitory bacteriumadditive effect, synergistic inhibitory effect was existed in some extracts such as chloroformextract and ethyl acetate extract of alcohol extract from Eupatorium fortune Turcz combinedwith Ciprofloxacin on streptococcus suis in vitro. Substance E of fatty acid glyceridescompounds was Isolated and purified from the ethyl acetate extract, and Inhibitory effect wasnot existed in E against on Streptococcus suis.3.Study on effective parts of alcohol extract from Eupatorium fortune TurczTo Separate and extract compounds of flavonoids and saponins by Polyamide columnchromatography method and macroporous resin column chromatography method. Minimuminhibitory concentration (MIC) of compounds of flavonoids and saponins from Eupatoriumfortune Turcz against streptococcus suis in vitro were determined by two-double dilutionmethod. Fractional inhibitory concentrations (FIC) of compounds of flavonoids and saponinsfrom Eupatorium fortune Turcz combined with antibiotics against Streptococcus suis weredetermined by constant checkerboard dilution method. It is showen that compounds offlavonoids and saponins was existed in Eupatorium fortune Turcz, and it has ntibactierial activityagainst on Streptococcus suis, and parts of compounds of flavonoids combine with Ciprofloxacinon streptococcus suis in vitro have inhibitory bacterium additive effect.
