Effect of secondary terpenoids metabolism in latex with ethylene stimulated on heavea brasiliensi was studied.A technology platform for terpenoids secondary metabolites analysis was established by which the qualitative and quantitative analysis of terpenoids secondary metabolites was done.Comparative analyzed the different metabolism levels of terpenoids secondary metabolites on latex between the trees under ethylene stimulated and no stimulus.1.A method of extraction, separation and purification for terpenoids secondary metabolites based on extraction by ethanol,extraction by step wirh organic solvent and solid phase extraction(SPE) was established.2.A method of isolation and indentification for terpenoids secondary metabolites based on gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) was established. Three triterpenes squalene,cycloartenol and 24-methylenecycloartanol from ethyl aectate extract and two sesquiterpenes (Z)-farnesol,τ-cadinol from chloroform extract were identified, which accounting for 23.07%、0.20%、0.64%、0.14%、0.10% of total in order.3. A method of quantitative analysis for based on gas chromatography with frame ionization detector (FID) was established.4. Comparative analyzed the different metabolism levels of squalene and cycloartenol on latex.The result showed that in 24 hours after ethylene stimulate, squalene content decreased,but the content showed a slowly rise and reached the peak in 7-9 days after stimulate. Then it decline gradually yield reached the low levels before stimulation or worse.Meanwhile,the content of cycloartenol was always lower than it before stimulate begin in 12 hours after stimulate and reached the lowest level in 3-4 days after stimulate, then the content rised gradually but the level below it before stimulate until 11 days after stimulate.lt was detected that the effect of cycloartenol as a end product in MVA by ethylene stimulate could be sustained at least 11 days.
