Attention to the residue of chemical pesticides and pesticide pollution are more and more paid by the cicil society as the increase of the awareness to the environmental problem. Bio-control is a kind of sustainable plant protection technique and popular research project because of it overcomes the weakpoints of chemical pesticides. For the bio-control purpose, this study managed to establish the fermentation technology for endophytic bacteria Czkl and evaluation on Czkl for its bio-control on root diseases and anthracnose of rubber tree. The main results are as following.1. Endophytic bacteria isolate Czkl was identified as Bacillus subtilis with morphological and molecular methods.2. The optimum culture media for Czkl were decoloped. The constituent of the media is: 2% of Glucose,1% of Yeast extract+Tryptone+NH4Cl (2:2:1),0.3% of Na2HPO4,0.1% of NaH2PO4 and 2:1 for C/N.3. The culture conditions were determined. The optimum conditions for Czkl growth is: 33℃of temperature incide the incubator, pH 7.5 for the initial acidity,200r/min for the shaking speed,24h for the culture duation,5% for the initial inoculation volume, and 100ml for VE.4.The antagonistic effects of Czkl against the pathogen of root diseases and anthracnose of rubber tree were evaluaed. The results showed that Czkl had great potential antagonism against the pathogenic fungi tested. The width of antagonistic betl was as wide as 0.6-1.6cm. Czkl could also resulted in morphological abnormal colony and mycilia of the pathogenic fungi.5.The bio-control effects of Czkl against anthracnose of rubber tree were evaluated in leaves in vitro and pot-seedling. The results showed that 1000 times of Czkl fematation product could significantly reduce the incidence and severity of the disease.6.The stability of the antagonistic effects of Czkl against the pathogenic fungi was tested. The result showed that Czkl still kept the antagonism after 20 tranfer culture, suggesting tis antagonism can maintain for long time in vitro.7. The test of the sensity of Czkl to antibiotics was carried out. The results showed that Czkl was highly sensitive to tetracycline, erythromycin, ampicillin, riafmpicin, streptomycin and kanamicin.
