This study was conduted to determine the dietary protein requirements of juvenile rock carp (Procypris rabaudi) and the dietary lipid requirements of juvenile Chinese suck(Myxocyprinus asiaticus).The results were as follows.Experiment 1. Protein requirements of nutritional physiology of juvenile Rock carp (Procypris rabaudi)540 Rock carp (initial body weight7.93±0.16g)were randomly divided into 6 treatments (90 for each treatment,30 for each replicate) to determine the optimal dietary protein level of juvenile Rock carp by feeding diet with six graded levels of Soybean oil (25.1%、30.3%、34.8%、40.4%、44.8%、49.7%). The results showed that:(1) Dietary protein level had remarkably affected the growth performance of Rock carp (P<0.05). At 40.4% level, the WG、SGR、PER and RNA/DNA got the maximum, while the FCR got the minimum; (2) Dietary protein level had remarkably affected the body composition of Rock carp (P<0.05). At 40.4% level, the protein content of whole body got the maximum, while the lipid content of whole body got the minimum; (3)Dietary protein level had remarkably affected antioxidant capacity of Rock carp (P<0.05).With the increase of dietary protein level, the antioxidant capacity of Rock carp first raised and then went down, the T-AOC and SOD reaching the highest level at 40.4%,but the MDA got the minimum at 40.4% level;.(4) Dietary protein level had remarkably affected the intestine digestive enzymes of Rock carp (P<0.05).With the increase of dietary protein level, protease activity and lipase activity inereased got the maximum at 40.4% level, amylase activity was observed with lipase activity (5) At 40.4% level,. The GPT, GOT, GPT/GOT, GDH got the minimum. dietary protein level of juvenile Rock carp is 40.53%~41.05%, which inferred from the conic analysis of WG, SGR, FCR, RNA/DNA and GDH.Experiment 2 lipid requirements of nutritional physiology of juvenile Chinese suck(Myxo-cyprinus asiaticus) 540 Chinese sucker (initial body weight6.73±0.21g)were randomly divided into 6 treatments (90 for each treatment,30 for each replicate) to investigate the effect of dietary lipid level on growth performance、intestine digestive enzymes and lipid metabolism of juvenile Chinese sucker by feeding diet with six graded levels of Soybean oil (2.04%,4.43%、6.88%、9.02%、11.98%、13.39 %). After an 56-day feeding trial, the results showed that:(1) Dietary lipid level had remarkably affected the growth performance of Chinese sucker (P<0.05). At 6.88% level, the WG、SGR and RNA/DNA got the maximum, while the FCR got the minimum; (2) Dietary lipid level had remarkably affected the body composition of Chinese sucker (P<0.05). With the increase of dietary lipid level, the lipid content of whole body,PRE raised first and then declined, LRE was decreased; (3)Dietary lipid level had remarkably affected antioxidant capacity of Chinese sucker (P<0.05).With the increase of dietary lipid level, the antioxidant capacity of Chinese sucker first raised and then went down, the T-AOC and SOD reaching the highest level at 6.88%,but the MDA got the minimum at 6.88% level;.(4) Dietary lipid level had remarkably affected the intestine digestive enzymes of Chinese sucker(P<0.05).With the increase of dietary lipid level, protease activity was decreased, lipase activity inereased at first and then maintained at a steady state, amylase activity was observed with lipase activity (5)TLn TG、TC of serum inereased and MDH、LPL decreased with increasing dietary lipid (P<0.05). The optimal dietary lipid level of juvenile Chinese sucker is 6.62%-7.02%, which inferred from the conic analysis of WG, SGR, PER, FCR and the effect of dietary lipid level on body composition and antioxidant capacity of Chinese sucker.
