Abstract/Summary:
The paper studies the two-stage Flow Shop material distribution and its algorithms based on Cross-docking. Cross-docking is kind of distribution mode which moves goods directly from receiving point to shipping point. The objective is to eliminate the inventory-holding function of a warehouse or distribution center while still allowing it to keep the receiving and shipping functions. It analyzes scientifically the concept advantages and defects、classification and application of the Cross-docking, and based on the current research situation of material distribution and Cross-docking, it proposes the general two-stage Flow Shop material cross-docking distribution problem based on the characteristics of cross-docking. In addition, with the different modes of transport vehicles in Cross-docking, the paper mainly studies the following two types of problems:(1)For the two-stage Flow Shop material cross-docking distribution problem based on direct delivery, the paper studies direct delivery, including the concept of direct delivery、the prerequisites of direct delivery、advantages and disadvantages of direct delivery; On the basis of direct delivery, the paper proposes the description of the two-stage Flow Shop material cross-docking distribution problem, and constructs the mixed integer mathematical programming model; Two heuristic algorithms has been adopted to solve the problem, including the traditional heuristic algorithm based on the Johnson’s rule and the heuristic algorithm based on EDD; As an example of the engine assemble process of the automobile manufacturing enterprise, the paper compares two heuristic algorithms for the correctness and validity. The result shows that the heuristic algorithm based on the EDD is more effective.(2)On the two-stage Flow Shop material cross-docking distribution problem based on milk run, the paper studies the concept of milk run、the prerequisites of milk run、advantages and disadvantages of milk run; On the basis of milk run, the paper proposes the description of the two-stage Flow Shop material cross-docking distribution problem, and constructs the mixed integer mathematical programming model; Two algorithms has been adopted to solve the problem, including the traditional simulated annealing algorithm and the heuristic algorithm based on EDD; As an example of the engine assemble process of the automobile manufacturing enterprise, the paper compares two heuristic algorithms for the correctness and validity; The result shows that the heuristic algorithm based on the EDD is more effective.The paper studies the two-stage Flow Shop material cross-docking distribution problem, which can effectively decrease the occupation area of the workshop temporary storage area, reduce the inventory and improve the efficiency of material distribution, provide strong support for the actual operation of the workshop material distribution.
