Study On Tourism Development Model Of Fossil Heritage

Ancient fossils are precious natural heritage for human, which have high research value that provide an important scientific physical basis for the study of life origin, biological evolution and development. Fossil heritage tourism is an important measure and the most effective way to achieve fossil heritage protection and sustainable development. Fossil heritage contain rich ancient information, but with weak appeal to tourists and difficult development, in addition to the dinosaur, mammoths and other large prehistoric animals in appearance modeling. Therefore, it is urgent need of exploring suitable tourism development modes for different types of fossil heritage, on the premise of protecting fossil heritage, caring out moderately popular science tourism activities to drive the economic development of fossil heritage sites, and promoting protection and inheritance of fossil heritage. Based on fossil heritage as the research object, this paper standing in the perspective of heritage tourism, analyzed different types of fossil heritage tourist attraction as a kind of tourism resources classification, drawing on the successful experience of fossil heritage tourism development at home and abroad, put forward tourism development mode according to different types of fossil heritage, and transverse comparison research, aimed at providing reference development and support for fossil heritage site tourism.The results showed that different types of fossil heritage had different tourism attraction, mainly depend on the beautiful degree of fossil appearance, dimension, particularity and the effects of film and television media and the accumulation of scientific knowledge. Based on the perspective of fossil tourism, fossil heritage were divided into micro, medium and giant fossil according to the fossil size and ancient biological characteristics. Put forward the corresponding train of thought for the development and protection and fossil heritage tourism development mode of the three kinds of fossil heritage, through the scenario simulation and experience design combining fossil heritage tourism development at home and abroad. Based on different scales of fossil heritage tourism development of horizontal comparison, scientific connotation mining and exhibition of fossil heritage is the difficult point of the tourism development, science and technology, differentiation of show display, the experience of interesting projects and the diversification of tourism commodity design were important approach to improve fossil heritage tourism attraction. Giant fossil tourism development were relatively mature at home and abroad, while the development of smaller size of micro-fossil was still in the exploratory stage, therefore, combine with case studies, in-depth analysis of micro-fossil tourism development mode and realization ways and means is the direction of future efforts.
