Internal Control Effectiveness, Marketization Process And Environmental Information Disclosure

More than 30 years since the reform and opening up, the environment is suffering serious pollution accompanied with the extensive economy development in China. The environmental pollution is along with the rapid development of economy and increasingly serious. Especially in recent years, the unfriendly environment events often occur, such as the PCOC water pollution, Qingdao pipeline explosion, the occurrence of fog, and so on. Pollution of the environment affects people’s lives, threatens people’s health, the normal development of society. Now the main reason is that the enterprise concerns their profits increase in the process of development without regard to restore their development on the environment pollution. For businesses, the embodiment of environment protection depends on whether disclose the environmental information. In our country, in terms of the present situation, corporate disclose their environmental information on the one hand is forced by relevant state laws and regulations, on the other hand is on the initiative of the enterprise. For legal system perfect degree, we substitute by marketization, as reflected by the degree of marketization of external governance environment including the legal environment. The enterprise locates in the different geographical, the regional economic development have greatly differences, this makes the area of the enterprise system environment be different, finally affect the environmental information disclosure of the enterprise. The level of corporate disclosure of environmental information depends on the initiative of corporate.The perfect degree of the enterprise internal control system will make a great difference to the initiative of disclosure.The enterprise’s internal control system is more perfect, the higher form of internal control effectiveness, make the enterprise disclosure initiative strengthen. In recent years, scholars in our country has carried out a lot of research of environmental information disclosure, and made much progress.on the basis of using the experience of predecessors’ research. The paper analyse from the internal factors and external factors, the empirical test the effectiveness of the internal control and marketization process and the interaction of the two effects on environmental information disclosure.The paper elaborated the research status of enterprise environmental information disclosure, summaries the related literature. Then based on the stakeholder theory, corporate social responsibility theory, theory of public pressure and environmental kuznets curve, to analyze its mechanism and environmental information disclosure. Adopt the method of content analysis to build enterprise environmental information disclosure of the evaluation index, further on the basis of listed companies data of heavy pollution industry, statistic and analysis the latest development of enterprise environmental information disclosure. Then using the multivariate linear regression model to verify the internal control effectiveness, the affection of marketization degree to environmental information disclosure, due to the role of enterprise internal control effectiveness of environmental information disclosure will be affected by the degree of marketization, the higher the degree of marketization of the listed company region, the relationship between internal control effectiveness and environmental information disclosure to promotion degree is more obvious. Finally the paper in view of the problems found during the study putting forward some suggestions. To improve the level of corporate environmental information disclosure, It needs to do by the state, enterprises and social public three aspects at the same time.The main contribution is to combined the external influence factors of corporate environmental information disclosure and internal factors to consider.study the influence degree of interaction of internal control effectiveness and marketization process to corporate environmental information disclosure. Most previous studies consider purely internal factors from the enterprise or the perspective of external factors enterprises to analyze and verify its effect on the enterprise environment information disclosure, combine the two aspects to study the literature does not see more.
