MILKRUN - Based Logistics Planning For Automobile Enterprises

The world automobile industry is still in rapidly development, our country is without exception. However. compared with the mature foreign auto logistics industry, China is still lack in this area. The traditional automobile parts inbound logistics mode has not gradually adapt to the rapidly development of the automobile market at home and abroad. The automotive industry inbound logistics involves thousands of material components and a large number of suppliers, so inbound logistics is considered in the whole automobile logistics system a important degree and a highly complexity, is one of the core systems, so improving the inbound logistics mode to improve logistics efficiency and benefits of automobile enterprises is a development trend in the future.The MILKRUN mode is a kind of new delivery model, applicable to the automotive industry parts distribution, for enterprises to reduce logistics cost, improve the efficiency of the material distribution, and increase the income for the enterprise. In foreign countries, MILKRUN mode of inbound logistics theories and practices are relatively mature, although there are individual automobile enterprises (GM, VW) successfully run the MILKRUN mode, there are still a vast majority of automotive enterprises use the traditional mode for delivery. Traditional inbound logistics has many defects, such as supplier sent straight empty returns the waste, the whole enterprise logistics efficiency is low, the third party logistics company witch cooperation with the enterprise is not high.In this thesis, S automobile inbound logistics planning project as the background, introduce the operation method of MILKRUN mode and related theories, analyze the deficiency of the current S enterprise logistics mode.combining the S enterprise present situation from the practice angle, proposed the MILK RUN pickup pattern of4kinds of inbound logistics mode, and design implementation run mode of S enterprise steps, including supplier selection, RDC. In the implementation of MILKRUN pickup pattern vehicle planning problem, using the C-W algorithm and improved C-W algorithm to implement S enterprise in the MILKRUN pickup suppliers for optimization of transportation costs, in order to meet the S automobile enterprise in the future several years capacity demand and improve market competitiveness, provide a kind of train of thought, and provide some reference for other relevantly domestic industry to carry out MILKRUN mode.
