A Study On Credit Structure Optimization Of Hohhot Branch Of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank

Bank credit is the main source of profit and the most important business activities, effective functioning of the credit business plays a vital role for the commercial banks of China to gain superiority in the international competition. Since2008, in order to deal with the international financial crisis, Chinese government took the investment policy of stimulating domestic demand in the economy, commercial banks generally hold a large-scale credit and sharply increased the size of credit assets, meanwhile the stocks and new assets was mainly used for the infrastructure and real estate industry, resulting in the imbalance of credit structure. There is an urgent problem for commercial banks is that how to convert scientific and rational in inefficient and efficient credit market freely and to achieve optimal allocation of credit structure.In this paper, as the case study of Huhhot Branch of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, combining the basic theory of the credit structure adjustment, using qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, analyzing concretely the concentrated loan of Huhhot Branch of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank on individual customers, individual industries, resulting in individual areas of the credit structure imbalances and increasing the credit risk. Based on the analysis of problems existing in the credit structure of Huhhot Branch of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, set up the credit structure optimization goal, put forward the strategy of optimize the credit structure systematic, including:the effective credit entry and exit policy, the implementation of regional differentiation business strategy, the implementation of green credit strategy and the specific direction of the credit structure of optimization.
