Nowadays, it is known that the heavy card business is under fierce competition. And kinds of heavy card business pay emphasis on decreasing inventoryand improving the inventory mode. However, Shaanxi steam group has ignored this problem during its past management, taking inventory only as a barn for storing product and never considering the vital role to connect producing and sales. For realizing the target of billions of earning, Shaanxi steam has to go through a new cognitive process. In this paper, the author has used the method of case analysis and data analysis to check the mechanism, refine system process and to solve all business related to inventory. Based on this, we could improve the business and increase it to the desired increase point in order to avoid the problem of other parts in the storage aspects focus. By a series of concrete analysis, we are to exam the checking methods and then reduce the amount of inventory, and hence to promote the efficiency of in-out warehouse on time.This paper has studied the following problems:firstly, the author analyzed the problem of Shaanxi steam’s inventory mode and the reason of these problems. The investigation finds that inventory is not only due to the management, but also because of producing, sales, quality of purchasing and the chain reaction caused from not timely in and out inventory. Since it is bound to disturb the original sales and prepare in the marketing firm, and even lead to chaos grid and cancelling customers’ order. The longer the vehicles remain, the lower its intrinsic value. And moreover, the lower the value, the more difficult it is to be on sale, which cause a vicious cycle. The sales order signing at random, out of control of distribution channels, informally constricting the process of purchasing parts, are all likely to cause the production out of control. And the focus of these contradictions is the cohesion of in and out of the warehouse. In addition, we put forward the concept of inventory optimization according to the above discuss. In light of the warehouse, the paper has studied the whole process of product manufacturing sales. It is not a simple improvement of storage site in the field of warehouse management. In fact, it need to turn into improve management level of the whole producing and selling chain. And therefore, we could achieve the purpose of optimizing final inventory management. Finally, based on above arguments, we have studied the Shaanxi steam’s heavy card business in terms of producing, purchasing, quality, sales and inventory related to the optimization of upstream and downstream units. Moreover, it is to achieve the purpose of promoting the inventory management and other aspects.
