In the era of knowledge economy, the foothold and development of the enterprises are more and more rely on the degree of professional knowledge and technology. The variety of professional knowledge and technology is under the control of knowledge workers. Each step of enterprise’s operation is stuffed by large amount of knowledge workers. They strongly support the production operations and competition of enterprises. It is one of the most important power sources of the development of the society and the country. However, as the number of knowledge workers growing, the problem of management is coming. For example, they have more exactly desire for the physical incentive and nonphysical incentive such as promotion, nice work environment, and competitive work.In another side, it is more difficult to clarify the nonphysical incentives than physical ones. What’s more, the manners of nonphysical incentives like written praise are lack of innovation. So, it is useless in fill the demand of knowledge workers. The communication skills are still rely on the task distribution. That make the knowledge workers’ demands are still unmet. In long term, that may lead to the high circulation.Based on this paper’s analyses, non-physical incentive factors could influence the satisfactions of the knowledge workers. In addition, the knowledge workers are mainly undertake mental work, which are affected by personality. So personality should be the important factors that affect employees’ job satisfaction. To sum up, in this paper, we study the personality traits as regulating variable, how non-material incentive effects the knowledge workers’ job satisfaction. Through this study, we can know how the material incentive factors affect the knowledge staff’s job satisfaction. At the same time carries on the comparison to each personality’s influence, so that the enterprises may undertake a more effective way to incentive knowledge workers.
