With the development of the social economy and wide use of advanced manufacturing technology, the complexity of complex product’s function and structure is on the increase. The investment to the product cost has increasingly become the focus of attention, if the product’s future cost isn’t estimated and evaluated in advance before developed or used, it may cause the the expense increasing in an uncontrolled way, which will not only be a heavy economic burden, but also will affect the development and investment of new products. Therefore it’s necessary to estimate the cost of complex product in advance considering the effect of product demand on economic affordability, and how to control the life cycle cost of product with scientific cost estimation method becomes one of the key problems of strengthening product purchase decision.Through the research achievements at home and abroad and the actual business needs of complex product cost estimation system, this article analyzes product cost estimation algorithm and multiple objectives optimization decision, and design a general cost estimation system for complex product. The main research contents are as follows:(1) According to the characteristics of complex product based on real project, the design target and system structure of cost estimation system for complex product are presented, and also the overall operation process is described, which including the operation process of cost estimation method based on multiple dimension and historical data and the multiple objective(namely effectiveness, cost and risk)design for based on CAIV. At last, according to the business requirements, the system’s function is analyzed structurally and modularized.(2) Through the analysis of the existing cost estimation methods and considering that the cost data used in cost estimation of complex product can’t be get easily, a method of cost estimation based on WPCA&WSVR is put forward for cost estimation with little sample data. This method includes about two processing procedure, namely reducing the dimensions of sample data whose parameters are weighted with principle component analysis method and trained with support vector regression by giving different sample data with different weight. At last an example is given to verify the availability of this method.(3)According to the real requirements of all-sided decision for complex product and considering the development risk of complex product, a method of cost-effectiveness-risk multiple objective decision for complex product based on CAIV is put forward by improving the traditional analysis of effectiveness and cost with CAIV. Through establishing evaluation criteria and model of cost and effectiveness and risk, the best scheme can be determined by comparing different product schemes. At last, with a specific example of using multiple objectives decision based on CAIV method, the usability of the algorithm is verified.(4) Based on the analysis on the function of system, cost estimation model and method of decision based on CAIV, a complex product cost estimation system is designed and implemented. Development technology and operation platform for this system are stated, and the logical and physical design of database is described, in addition, the function of this system is also displayed with detailed operation interfaces.
