| This paper aims to research the development strategy of tourism industry in Almaty, as well as tries to create some ideas to solve kind of problems which still exists in tourism sector of the city. In addition this work hopes to become useful source of information for Chinese readers who interested in Kazakhstan, Almaty and its tourism industry as well.This work is organized into seven chapters. Chapter1gives information about vital significance of tourism development in Almaty. Reviews recent local and international literature in tourism development strategies and its models shows in chapter2. Chapter3provides a comprehensive picture of tourism industry in Almaty and SWOT analyses of tourism sector in the city. Chapter4overview status of tourism industry in China’s metropolis Shanghai, and seeks its positive experience tourism development policy measures which worth learning and adopting in Almaty. Final chapters5,6and7provide a summary of the major findings and their way of implementation in the development strategy of tourism industry in Almaty. |
