Since the establishing of Stock Market in China, it has been accompanied byexcessive speculation. As the rapid development of China stock market，it plays amore and more important role in national economy. Therefore, it is not negligible tothe negative impact of excessive speculation on the steady development of stockmarket It is with great significance to curb excessive speculation and guide rational’investment in Chinas stock market. Although China’s stock market is becoming moreand more mature, sharp shock and fluctuation still remained without change. All kindsof problems exposed in the process of growing up gained more and more attention bysociety. Ethical criticism to excessive speculation in stock market is one topic of them.This topic is related with the lacking of ethical behavior of stock market participants.This thesis aims to do some research and discussion on the cross discipline of Financeand Ethics. Starting from the statement and analysis of the excessive speculationstatus and danger to China stock market, this thesis will go forward with theelaboration of the reasons resulting in excessive speculation, aiming at illustrating thesignificant importance of stock market partici’pants conduct regulation. A conclusionwill be brought up that excessive speculation is not just a simple economic issue, butalso an ethical issue from insightful perspective. Then, it is discussed in Chapter threefor the deep-rooted reason of China s stock market excessive speculation, andanalyzed the current situation in Chi’nas stock market. It is consisted of three parts,firstly discussed security traders and security practitioner; secondly analyzed thecredibility problem between shareholders and listing corporations; thirdly touched thetopic of monitoring method of government and regulators, as well as topic ofmarketing oirentation. To the end, this thesis came to several suggestions oncontrolling excessive speculation in China’s stock market from the angle of morality,anticipating providing some experience and reference to stock market practice.
