Research On The Strategy Of Attracting Investment In Jiangdu Economic Development Zone

For a long time, the investment is not only an important starting point of China’s economic development, but also is an important way to realize the rapid economic and social development in various development zones. However, along with the global economic integration and the continuous improvement of the market economy, the investment model of Jiangdu Economic Development Zone---led by the government, has been unable to meet the requirements of the times, its shortcomings are increasingly obvious.Jiangdu economic development zone is located in the Shanghai metropolitan area and the Nanjing economic circle, the location advantage is obvious. With the continuous deepening of Jiangsu coastal development strategy and a series of traffic facilities have been built, Jiangdu economic development area entered into the great development of the time. In the domestic and international industry capital transfer and the integration development of the southern and the northern areas of Jiangsu Province, Jiangdu Economic Development Zone face some great tasks of economic and social sustainable development:how to enlarge the location advantage, seize the historical opportunities, accelerate investment.This paper, with the general theory, outlines the successful experiences in investment from the advanced areas, summarizes the investment status of Jiangdu Economic Development Zone. It outlines the strategic experiences of the Jiangdu Economic Development Zone with the aspects of strategic positioning, working principles, measures, in-depth analysis of series of problems of Jiangdu Economic Development Zone:waste of resources, single measure, structural imbalance, aged team, unregulated surroundings, etc.These problems, not only failed to attract high quality projects, and cause the insufficient working efficiency, poor economic benefit etc. and even affect the sustained, stable, healthy development of Jiangdu development zone. The main cause of the above problems:the performance evaluation system is not reasonable, restraint mechanism is not perfect, imperfect market mechanism, unreasonable team, surrounding construction is not in place. Through the SWOT analysis method, analyzes the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and challenges of Jiangdu Development Zone. Finally, analysis from Jiangdu Economic Development Zone to Jiangsu Province, put forward with suggestions of improving investment strategies:the innovation system, strengthening the project assessment, clear investment focus, cultivate market subjects, set up of professional team, optimize the investment environment, etc.
