Suzhou is an area which have full-bodied humanistic feeling, humanisticconnotation and humanistic spirit. The TaoHuaWu of Suzhou was once enjoyed greatpopularity at home and abroad because of the glory of wooden New Year pictures.However, along with the transformation from farming civilization era to industrializedmodern civilization, this kind of the most initial folk art is gradually desalting inpeople`s visual field which was closed to disappear. The survival and developmentof the art of wooden New Year pictures in TaoHuaWu region is faced with severechallenge, the whole region is sinking into a development dilemma too. With therapid development of the World Economy, the society has entered into a brandmanagement economy era, still further as an era of image consumption. The marketcompetition In the future is not only the price and products, but also thecomprehensive competition of the brand image.This article is based on the afresh shaping of TaoHuaWu ‘s brand image as themain research object,starting from how to make the TaoHuaWu get rid of theembarrassing circumstances in contemporary society,making the achievement offormalist research and field research of the TaoHuaWu’s wooden New Year picturescombined with modern advanced technology,protect idea and marketrequirement.Combining art innovation and economic innovation to change theprotection of folk art. Using firenew image brand Remodeling and protecting tacticson the TaoHuaWu area. Analysising the characteristic and development direction ofTaoHuaWu image brand remodeling by learn from successful image examples andtheory. This needs to fully understand the current situation of TaoHuaWu image, andclear out model mentality, target and development strategy in the future.2As the result, the main problem waiting to solve is how to seek new ways ofdevelopment, realize the new development of TaoHuaWu region.In this context, toaccurate brand positioning of TaoHuaWu region, establish TaoHuaWu region image,to the overall image of reshaping TaoHuaWu region and the establishment of the national culture brand, becoming the promoting of TaoHuaWu region image, improvethe cultural competitiveness, revitalize the regional economy, the inheritance of folkart and realize TaoHuaWu region sustainable development important way.
