In the recent years, the profit of Electronic products OEM industry which is in the end of the value chain is getting shrinkage. Electronic products OEM industry is always more prosperous in the southeast coastal area, but along with the human resources cost rise recently, the government policy also gradually tilt to emerging industries such as new energy, new materials, Coupled with the client abate the price, the electronic products OEM industry’s business environment is getting worse.In this thesis, the W company we study on is also an electronic product OEM enterprise, whose production is mainly communication products, and it is mainly operating the ODM business. The company that is a original design manufacturer, which usually designed the corresponding products according to customer’s request, as the customer’s brand and then sell to the customer.In recent years, W company’s business scale continues to increase, but the growth rate is unstable. The net profit growth rate is also not stable. In the first half of2012, the after-tax profit dropped30%, and the EPS from6.73in2011dropped to0.92yuan (NT). Although the business income is rising, the value of firm growth is constantly reduced. So it is necessary to resurvey the operating environment and operating condition of W company, and analyse the existing enterprise resources and ability, then to formulate suitable development strategy.This thesis introduced history and present situation of W Company, and listed problems the company confronted. W Company’s external environment and enterprise resource, enterprise capacity, are analyzed. Strategy is chosen as core strategy on the basis of SWOT analysis and enterprise positioning analysis. Implementing the strategy from several aspects, such as improving product development, strengthening market management, establishing better human resource system, standardizing and optimizing enterprise management system, reshaping company culture, will enhance the company’s core competitiveness to achieve its long-term strategic target.
