Satellite remote sensing image has a wide range of applications in today’s society, in order to obtain different feature information using multi-spectral imaging technology, due to factors that affected by multiple atmosphere, visible light band can’t not be synthesized into true color, it are universally applied that near-infrared and visible band synthesis into pseudo color which to differ from objects. It is an important research topic that satellite remote sensing image gets ground targets true color, and it is a hot topic that the use of near infrared remote sensing improves the image of the natural color in recent years.Different remote sensing satellite images are different in their natural color transformation and fusion methods. This paper use GF-2 satellite data of our country as the data platform, remote sensing image of many areas as the object of study, that near-infrared band improves color natural fusion algorithm as the main research content, improve the utilization of remote sensing image data, the spatial resolving power and sharpness, and ultimately enhance the ability to interpret the image. Specific research work includes:(1)In the remote sensing image preprocessing, the study of atmospheric correction and white balance have presented to enhance color naturalness. In terms of atmospheric correction, the improvement of algorithm dark target algorithm has presented under the atmospheric scattering model of Krisciunas et al(1991), which reduces the atmospheric fog phenomenon resulting, enhances image clarity and feature analysis capabilities; in terms of color balance, spectral information of the white man-made objects is used to method of gray world, which reduces the color deviation appearance of the overall image, improves the accuracy of color.(2) On the basis of linear synthesis model fusion in natural color, green band and the near infrared band require Contourlet fusion based on NDVI, then a new green band image is got, finally natural-color image is obtained with the red band and blue band, which improves the feature analysis bushy plants and water color.(3) The spectral color conversion synthesis method is studied, the feature is classed into the vegetation, shade, water and other surface features using near infrared terrain classification capabilities. The spectral color conversion synthesis method is used in different feature, which preserves the spectral information of multi spectral images, and further improves the ability of color identification and image interpretation capabilities.
