User session based Web testing technologies made testers freed from tedious test case designing.One of the key questions for user session based Web application testing technologies is the reduction of user session technique.Reduced test suite can help testers shorten testing cycles,reduce testing cost.This dissertation presents a new technique for reducing user session based on the sequences of user request.Firstly,further study the reduction of test suite technique of user session based Web application testing,focus on techniques for reducing user session based on concept lattice and based on URL.Secondly,comparing the characteristics and advantages and disadvantages are analyzed,and on this basis,reducing user session based on the sequences of user request is presented.And the basic thought of this technique is if and only if the user session request sequences are all included in the other user session request sequences,remove the superfluous user session.The quantity of reduced test suit is greatly decreased,and guarantee that cover all of the user session request sequences.That is guarantee that cover all of the original test requirements.In addition,a new method of optimized reduced test suite is also presented.Ordering reduced test suite according to request number from most to least, and then combining the test suite.The final test suite generated by this method not only ensure prior execution of the user session contains most request but also ensure prior execution of the user session contains special request sequences.This method also considering users interaction,and test efficiency is greatly improved.The experimental results show that reducing user session based on the sequences of user request reduction ratio is greatly increased.And executing an optimized reduced suites can improving the rate of fault detection.
