With the popularity of intelligent electronic devices, the advent of the era of Mobile Internet, mobile subscribers soaring, it brought the wireless mobile communication system great pressure. Business data capacity, high energy consumption, maintenance costs and user experience poor has made Operation Business catch in an awkward dilemma. Facing so many challenges, the mobile communication system also ushers in a new revolution 5G that an innovative cloud-based access (C-RAN) centralized network architecture, which are redefined multi-mode baseband pool, multimode protocol processing pool, global resource management and control pool. And they are attracting increasing attention. The baseband processor in real-time communication system uses a large number of FFT algorithm,and FFT has become a core component of the communication signal processing. So the key to enhance system performance is designing advanced FFT algorithm and improving FFT computation speed.This paper introduces the architecture and key technologies of the super base station, and a detailed description of the core baseband processing unit--ICT-BBUH1000,which includes hardware and software composition. And this paper also deeply analyzes the core processor--DSP6618’s function and structure. Next, the radix-4 FFT fast algorithm are analyzed and the radix-4 FFT algorithm’s implementation principle and process is given. This paper also designs implementation of radix-4 algorithm, and finishes with MATLAB and checks to verify the correctness of the program. Finally, under the baseband boards carrying DSP6618 Chip, the paper uses FFTC module to design baseband signal in LTE system, completes the porting of the system, verifies the LTE system data. And it slso completes FFTC module testing,analyzes efficiency of FFTC and verifies the reliability and accuracy of the system. Constructive work in this paper is badly important,basic and significant to the re-defined multi-mode baseband pool.
