In this thesis,a research has been made on a new revolving chamber automatic mechanism, under the background of a project which made on the twelfth five-year-plan. After multiple cycles shooting, the automatic mechanism often occurs stuck phenomenon, which caused by high temperature of main heating components. For this phenomenon, detailed and specific analysis has been done, and corresponding solutions has been proposedThe main contents include:The basic theory of heat transfer is used to establish the corresponding mathematical model of heat transfer of the main heating parts, such as, barrel bushing, revolving body bushing and revolving body. And corresponding solving conditions are determined by finite element software, the temperature rise cause of the different parts of Barrel bushing, Revolving body bushing, and Revolving body is determined on the condition of a cycle of shooting. Then, after each firing cycle when the whole temperature become steady, the moment of resistance, which caused by the temperature rise of these parts, And the influence of the moment on automatic mechanism is calculated. In order to solve the problem. By analyzing and comparing different kinds of cooling method, spray cooling is determined to eliminate or reduce the influence of the resistance moment. Three specific spray cooling programs are put forward, which based on different power source and atomization principle. By comparing the advantages and disadvantages of different ways. The mechanical power of a single-fluid atomizer cooling program is selected. By considering the cooling effect, atomization pressure and the influence on recoil, the basic size of structure is determined. According the size, refined design of specific structure is done.Infrared temperature measurement is selected by comparing different temperature measurement. According to the results, spray timing can be controlled. Depending on the structure, corresponding installation and fixation are determined. Then, multiple sets of comparative experiments are carried out. The results show that the cooling device can effectively enhance the amount of projectiles and relieve excessive temperature rise phenomenon.The results of the thesis have important reference value on cooling revolving chamber automatic mechanism.
