As a green type of new energy, pure solar energy has been paid more and more attention.Nowadays, the household photovoltaic(PV) power generation industry is becoming popular in PV field. The PV power system has two features: on the one hand, it is installed nearby so that the construction period can be relatively short, and its capacity can be expanded according to the user load, but its power generation efficiency is influenced greatly by climate factors; on the other hand, it’s easy to install and maintain, suitable for unattended operation, but inconvenient for real-time monitoring due to special installation environment. It becomes main research topics how to convert solar energy into electrical energy under the premise of manpower-saving and efficiency improving. The household PV power station monitoring system has wide prospect and is worth further exploration because it has multifunction such as real-time monitoring, fault alarm and data statistics etc, therefore it can ensure the system operating with low cost and high efficiency.A household PV power station monitoring system based on the Internet was developed in this paper. It monitors a 1500 W household PV power generation system as an example using JAVA serial communication technology and Web page publishing technology. Firstly, the present developing situation of household PV power station monitoring system was studied, as well as its future development trend. Secondly, its specific requirements were analyzed and determined.On this basis, a set of PV power generation monitoring system was designed. This system has several parts including user login module, data processing and storage module, real-time information interaction module, human-machine interaction module, data query module and so on. A series of advanced technologies, such as Ajax technology, JDBC data connection technology, JAVA serial communication technology, and B/S mode and Struts open source framework etc. were adopted to design and program the system. Among them, JAVA serial communication technology is used mainly for the communication between the upper and lower computer, Ajax and JDBC technology are used in the realizing process of the system. In order to ensure the safety, the system set the user rights. After all functions realized, the experiment platform was built to test the designed household PV power station monitoring system. The results show that the designed household PV power station monitoring system based on the Internet is a fully functional monitoring software and able to run stably.The development of the household PV power station monitoring system has a great role in promoting the effective operation of the user side supervision system. Therefore, it can simplify the photovoltaic process effectively and help users to manage the internal system and enhancethe working efficiency of the system that the PV power generation monitoring system meeting user’s actual demand of using and generating electricity is introduced in the user side. This monitoring system will ensure the high efficient operation of household PV power generation.
