Characteristics of Internet, such as freedom, free, and openness, make the communication and transmission of digital multimedia information more extensive and rapid, bringing a serious impact on the copyright protection of digital products. This paper use digital watermarking effectively to complete the protection of information content by hiding copyright information without prejudicing to its normal use. Image is an important form of digital multimedia data. In the real life color image is more common than binary and gray-scale image. Color image digital watermarking algorithm research attracts more and more people’s attention. Therefore, it is of great practical value to study the copyright protection of color image based on the digital watermarking technology.New digital image digital copyright production algorithms using differential evolution are proposed in this paper. The relevant contents are as following:(1) A color image watermarking algorithm based on differential evolution is proposed in this paper. The color images are widely applied, due to their more abundant content of expression than binary or gray images. So the article use color image as the algorithm carrier,and combine with the human visual model for color space conversion. Make use of strong robustness and global convergence properties of differential evolution algorithm to find the best watermarking embedding strength. Finally the visibility and robustness of the proposed watermarking algorithm are compared with correlation algorithms.(2) An improved color image watermarking algorithm based on differential evolution is designed. The standard differential evolution algorithm has a low population diversity, because of its initialization process mainly using random function. That will be some limitations to find the suitable watermarking embedding strength. Hence, for making initial population more uniform, the article introduces good point set theory. The local optimization of differential evolution is optimized by using adaptive. At last, the experimental results of this new method are compared with correlation algorithms.(3) A new large capacity color image watermarking algorithm based on differential evolution is presented. The embedding capacity is an important factor to measure the performance of watermarking algorithm, in addition to invisibility and robustness. Therefore,the paper takes advantage of channel hiding information capacity of color image, choosing optimum values of the corresponding three color channels. Ultimately, the color watermarking is embedded into the host image. Experimental results show that under the premise ofmaintaining good robustness and invisibility, the watermarking embedding capacity is increased effectively.Color image watermarking algorithm based on differential evolution, embedding strength of the watermark adaptively is improved. Good point set theory improving the efficiency of evolutionary watermarking algorithm for color images is proposed. In order to improve the embedding capacity of the watermark, a color image is used as the watermark. The validity and practicability of the algorithm are verified, which provides reference for the future research on the optimization of the watermarking algorithm. And it promotes the development and application of differential evolution algorithm in the digital watermarking field.
