Research And Design Of Positioning System Based On ZigBee Technology

In the office buildings, shopping malls, venues, prison, farms and other places,the position information and more attention, from the point of view of security needs or the value of the data mining and geographical position information is more and more important role. In the mobile Internet era, based on position information, social and increasingly affecting people’s lives. The outdoor positioning technology is relatively mature, indoor positioning technology still has great space for development. Indoor location based on short distance wireless communication technology, especially favor of Zig Bee because of its low cost, low power consumption, ad hoc network, safety good by researchers.This paper mainly based on ZigBee indoor positioning system of this subject is studied in, build the positioning system combined with a set of hardware and software. Hardware design of ZigBee communication module, mainly includes power supply circuit, clock circuit, antenna matching, serial communication circuit.Software created ZigBee mesh network, all to be node localization and fixed reference nodes can communicate with each other and read the attenuation of the signal strength indicator values(RSSI), using the wireless signal in transmission attenuation characteristics of conversion to distance information, combined with geometric positioning algorithm of target positioning, in order to facilitate management and real-time display, also designed the PC based on LabVIEW.After the completion of the design, a series of test experiments: login system validation experiment, validation of network communication function, data transmission protocol verification experiment, wireless signal in the communication process of strength attenuation experiment inquiry, integrated positioning experiment.The experimental results show that the system realizes the Zig Bee Based indoor positioning function, on the study of positioning technology has a certain reference value.
