Research On Microblogging Network Structure From The Perspective Of Complex Network Theory

One of new Media Microblog has only five or six years form the birth till now. Microblog in China has become popular only more than three years. But Microblog has gain more attention because of its superiority, such as a brief expression; covenant-lite; the release of the information rapidly and wildly spread. The generation of microblog brings new platform for social network analysis and attracts many scholars to research. Huge amounts of data can be collected to quantify under the background of big data time. Information society is challenging our traditional way of life, work and thinking. The research of information network structure and spread form of microblog has great social value and economic value, whether it is for analysis of the existing data and statistics in People’s Daily life or forecast the future development trend in many areas.Compared with the traditional media, the characteristics of microblog system mainly focused on three levels: the brief messages, diversity and timeliness platform. User post message and share directly by client of phone and computer to personal microblog. Microblog which is a typical online social network has many similarities with the model of complex network. Microblog is part of complex network. So we are able to construct model of complex network with user of microblog as node and relationship between users as node side.The paper based on the previous research, takes sina microblog for example and analyzes characteristics of network structure and form of spread information of microblog by using the theory of complex network. It is conclude that characteristics of microblog network such as small –world, scale-free, high clustering coefficient and so on. The spread of microblog is fast and extensive. The core node played a key role to spread. The distribution of the network nodes are high clustering. Microblog has broad prospects in the application and research. Take the example of microblog, the research helps to understand structure features and forms of information diffusion of online social networks deeply. It provides reference methods and explores new paths. From the perspective of complex network theory, the research of network structure and form of information diffusion of microblog is important. It is better to study features of dissemination of news under the new platform.
