This thesis is a composite part of The National Natural Science Foundation assistant research project“Study on New Constructional System of Residence for Energy Conservation in Xinjiang”(Project Number:50768009) with Professor Wang Wanjiang being responsible for. It mainly demonstrates the feasibility of using Intercalated Heat-retaining System in Xinjiang area with dry weather. This article combines theoretical analysis and laboratory testing to comprehensively study the heat transfer and moisture transfer performances of the Intercalated Heat-retaining System system in the following four respects:1. Heat transfer coefficient of the EPS board with and without tie piece is tested using experimental method. The effect of the tie piece on the Heat transfer coefficient is analyzed. Heat transfer coefficient of the sandwich insulating composite wall is tested and checked.2. The feasibility of improving dew generating phenomena inside the Intercalated Heat-retaining System system by setting up vapour insulation layer is validated through theoretical analysis and laboratory testing.3. Static and dynamic theories are combined to study the heat stability of the Intercalated Heat-retaining System and moisture-heat couple transmission in the system, establishing a equation of moisture-heat couple transmission.
