It is a widespread existent problem of the vehicle brake’s vibration and high temperature in project,and it not only brings environment pollution but also the more important problem of brakes effect, even cause to fail to brake the car and traffic accident. Base on analytical on structure of vehicle brake in common use and work principle, it apply analysis methods from modeling, meshing to finite element analysis, improvement design etc.This paper has built up the drum type system braking effect factor nonlinear dynamics mathematics model, and ADAMS coupling analysis model of rigid body and flexible body. It is considered as rigid body for shoe and drum in the emulation, and it is firstly carried on modal analysis for friction plate, import into MSC.ADAMS to become flexible body, establish emulation model. It analyses internal factor to make brake vibration, summarize the method to avoid vibration, then present solution. It is testified that the solution is effect in proving ground test.In the analysis for the vibration, it includes modal analysis for drum,shoe and scaleboard of brake, comparing the former ten rank modal of accessory. Aim at to usually appear scaleboard to split a problem in the actual usage, it carried on an improvement to the part of the scaleboard in the paper, and compared scaleboard stress level in the model in front and back pushed model.The temperature field research base on emulation model that numerical calculation of microscopically transient temperature field for electric drive dump truck’s disc brake.The car brake system involve three dimension multi-body coupling to match, temperature, friction, contact problem, include structure, temperature and contact pressure etc., the process is extremely much more complicated to change. The finite element method is a important method which carries on structure analysis, can carry out more accurate research on more complicated large structure like brake.The distribution characteristic of the transient temperature field of brake has direct influence for structural design and assessing lifes-pan of the brake disc of large-scale tramcar. In the first domestic 220t electric drive dump truck’s design process, it is based on the energy dissipating principle, and fully considers the impacts on brake temperature field of moving heat source. The commercial software comsol is the first time to be used to simulate 5-cycle braking of 220t electric drive dump truck, and the temperature distribution characteristic of the brake in temperature field is got at end of the simulation. At the same time, this method has been proved to be effective and reliable by comparing the experimental data with the calculated results of simulation for braking of 154t electric drive dump truck, which offers reference to design and improve electric drive dump truck’s disc brake.
