With the social economy and the progress of science and technology, large span space structure has been more and more attention, many experts and scholars at home and abroad of large span structure also has carried on the part of the study. As a kind of destructive earthquake is very big natural disasters will be what kind of influence on structure, the structural design of how should consider the effect of seismic action is the focus in the study of large span structure.In this paper, many experts and scholars both at home and abroad on the analysis of large span and large span structure and the seismic performance analysis of a large number of research, on the basis of the seismic performance of large span space structure has carried on the preliminary analysis, specific to make the following research:1. Seismic response analysis under frequent earthquake was studied. Firstly, this paper researched the dynamic characteristics of super-span structures, including the vibration mode and frequency. Considering the features of 800-meter-span spatial structures with vibration frequencies and more significant effect under higher mode, more reasonable damping ratios were discussed, to improve Rayleigh damping arithmetic was put forward to satisfy the request designing accuracy. Seismic response analysis under the single-dimensional and the multidimensional was studied, to explore the internal force coefficients in different site and different type.2. The response spectrum method was used to analysis the response of structural under the frequent earthquake and severe earthquake. Seismic response analysis under multi-support excitations was studied, considering wave passage effect, and beneficial results and seismic adjustment coefficients were worked out in order to guide design work.3. The dynamic failure mode was researched. Using the method of the whole process of dynamic, the dynamic failure mode of super-span double-layer reticulated shell structures was studied on the basis of the typical failure mode. Based on the fuzzy synthetic evaluation method, the influence of the changing of ratio of rise to span was discussed. Finally, the failure criteria based on ESED was used to analysis the dynamic failure mode of super-span double-layer reticulated shell structures.
