Bisphenols(BPs) are typical endocrine disrupting chemicals(EDCs) which commonly exist in all kinds of environmental media worldwide.Low dose exposure of BPs may cause huge demage to human health and ecosystem. It is necessary to study the pollution of BPs in drinking water source and providing data support for related research and decision making.An UPLC-MS/MS analysis method was investigated in this study, and it could be used to simultaneously detect 8 types of bisphenol compounds in natural waters. The temporal and spatial distribution of eight bisphnenols were investigated in three drinking water sources of Y and Harbin section of Songhua River. The removal efficiency of Bisphenols treated by conventional water processes were also examined.This paper also studied the removal efficiency of Bisphenol treated by catalytic ozonation.Sampling and analysis of three water bodies in Y city were conducted,the average concentration of BPs was 20.5ng/L.The average concentration of BPA was 108.4ng/L,accounting for 60%~70% of the ΣBPs. In Harbin section of Songhua river,the average concentration of BPs was 40.33ng/L.and the average concentration of BPA,TBBPA,BPAFwas 436ng/L,33.498 ng/L,22.267 ng/L,accounting for 25%~80% of the ΣBPsThe removal efficiency of Bisphenol treated by conventional treatment in the local drinking water plantwere also investigated. The conventional pollutants were controlled well but BPs were poorly removed.The removal efficiency of BPs were generally less than 60% in Y city drinking water plant. The conventional treatment in Songhua River drinking water plant were 40%~92%. The result of health risk assessment shows that BPs in the effluent of drinking water plant did not produce non-carcinogenic health hazard to human body but existing potential health risks.The hybrid ozone-membrane can effectively remove BPs in water.When the ozone doses was 2.0mg/L,more than 97% of BPs were degraded.The removal rates decreased when the initial concentrations were low.The ozonation products of BPA were detected,the result showed indicated that BPA was not mineralization completly.
