| The performance of the condenser which is an important part of thermal power plant steam turbine generator sets has a significant impact on safety and economy of the unit. As the main components of the condenser, the arrangement of the cooling tubes has an important influence on the heat transfer performance of the condenser, it is important for condenser piping research program.This paper focuses attention on the impact of air cooling zone on condenser performance, firstly collected three kinds shapes of condenser tube bundle’s air cooling zone, in the commercial software Fluent computing platform, numerical simulated on their shell-side flow, heat transfer and analyzed their heat transfer performance; then binding analysis of results designed a new bundle- lateral extraction steam narrow strip condenser bundle, its characteristic is air cooling zone which is a rectangular located on both sides of the bottom of condenser bundle. Finally, by comparison with one bundle under the same conditions, it is concluded that the new bundle is more superior.The paper also launches numerical research on the different aspect ratio of the new bundle’s air cooling zone, research in the condition of keeping air cooling zone area, steam parameters, cooling water parameters, mains number and so on unchanged, analyzed the simulation results of a variety of programs, giving proposed aspect ratio values of rectangular air cooling zone of new bundle herein designed.The third part of the work is condenser bundle serialization carried out in condenser design needs to match the circulating water system, studies on a 600 MW unit condenser, conducts the thermodynamic design on different circulation water flow rates of condenser, obtains thermal design results under different cycle of water, and then modules the new bundle designed, which is disposed within the condenser shell forming condenser serialization products corresponding to different circulating water flow. |
