Milling planer are playing an increasingly important role in the construction of the highway pavement maintenance, the majority of domestic large-sized milling machine are foreign products, and our country has also independently researched and developed a variety of large-scale road milling machine in recent years, but the clutch as one of its key components mainly relys on imports, in order to promote milling planer’s domestic level and product competitiveness, research and development of hydraulic controlled clutch for milling planer is very necessary.In this paper, the hydraulic controlled clutch for CM2000 milling planer is regarded as the research object, the design and research about it are carried out.Firstly, based on the advantages of the foreign clutch product, and in combination with the working condition of milling planer, the design scheme of the clutch are put forward;Secondly, based on the existing design theory of clutch, and combined with the size of the engine power used by CM2000 milling planer,the key components of clutch such as master and slave friction plate,reset spring etc.conduct design and check; Thirdly, a simulation model of fixed pressure plate and clutch assembly is established by using the Workbench software, the strength and rigidity are checked, regularities of the initial stress distribution are explored, the structural design is verified to meet the requirements; Finally, during the clutch’s starting process, a dynamic model is proposed to determine the time step of simulation, and based on the theory of heat transfer control,simulation model of the transient thermal-stress coupling is carried out by using Abaqus software, and distribution regularities of the temperature field and stress field about clutch are investigated and analyzed, the results show that temperature rising and stress can meet the design requirements. Through the design and research of the hydraulic controlled clutch, this paper design provides important reference for manufacturing and optimization design of milling planer clutch products.
