In this paper, CFRP with circular cross section and rectangular section aluminum alloy tube concrete members as the research object, the experimental studied on the flexural performance of the two components. By analyzing the data, their mechanical performance of two kinds of composite component, failure modes, stiffness and ductility and ultimate bearing capacity were analyzed and summarized. Aluminum pipe size, thickness and CFRP tube paste ways was controlled as variables. 20 members with circular cross section and 30 members with rectangular section members were studied. This experiment measured section strain intensity distribution under different loading, the overall displacement of the specimen and observation deformation and failure phenomena of the specimens. Ultimate bearing capacity of the CFRP strengthening rules, cross section rigidity change rules, the overall increase deflection and aluminum content, coefficient of aluminum tube constraints, CFRP constraint coefficient of the impact on the ultimate bearing capacity of the specimens were mainly studied.Later in this paper, the stiffness of the experimental and the theoretical value calculated according to the different national standard,and initial stiffness and using stiffness formulas were put forward by using the similar principle.Due to the complexity of internal stress, ultimate bearing capacity of accurate theoretical derivation was difficult, we simplified the component force model, on the basis of the limit equilibrium theory component bearing capacity calculation formula was deduced. Due to component mechanics model was simplified, there was a certain gap between the formula of the theoretical value and experimental value. In order to make the theoretical value with accuracy and reliability of the formula, the further linear regression was done, the formula was well consistent with experimental values which can be used for practical engineering.Finally, there is a summary about the defects in this paper, which is also the direction in this research area.
