With the intelligent transformation of power grid, substation develops in the direction of unmanned. As the hub between power systems and electrical customers, once be destroyed,it will have serious consequences in the substation. The security system of unmanned substation existing has the situation that detection means single, cabling difficulties, each security technology works independently and cannot achieve linkage. This has seriously affected on the security level of unmanned substation. In view of this problem, this paper came up with a linkage solution which combined multiple security technologies and designed the system. This system is mainly complete the work in four areas:(1) Integration of a variety of security technologies. In order to solve the problem that detection means single, this system mixes different types of security technologies together such as laser fence、electronic fence and IP camera by designing the field controller 、 intermediate controller 、management platform and other software and hardware. This system overcome the deficiency existing when it using the security technology alone by learning from various technologies.(2) The construction of security wireless network in the substation. For the purpose of solving the difficulty in cabling and updating caused by high-voltage equipment. This paper analyzed the ZigBee network in the aspect of system reliability、stability of communication、convenience of expansion and ease of development. This system completed the building of wireless network and overcome the difficulty in cabling and updating.(3) Integration of security management platform. To solve the problem that each security equipment platform existing independently, this system developed an integrated management system of unmanned substation. It put the security information collected by each equipment together, achieved the linkage between varieties of security technologies and improved the level of information sharing.(4) Remote transmission of alarm information. To solve the problem that the alarm information cannot be transmitted remotely, this system adopts the GPRS module to send the message to the telephone of staff and achieved the remote transmission of alarm information. Besides, this system also allows the staff log in the IP camera to view the video recorded by the camera.This system can be divided into three levels in structure, include field control layer、intermediate control layer and centralized control layer. Field control layer is located in near the wall of substation, it include field controller、laser fence、electronic fence 、 IP camera、searchlight and voice alarm module. Field control layer is the foundation of this system, it is responsible for detecting, obstructing, obtaining evidence and recording. Intermediate control layer is located in the control room, it is composed of intermediate controller、network router and GPRS module. Intermediate control layer is the information center of the system, and in charge of gathering alarm information、converting data frames、maintaining ZigBee and ethernet network、sending alarm message. Centralized control layer is mainly include the computer in the control room, it is the control center of this system and in charge of the comprehensive analysis of alarm information 、showing and recording the location of invasion 、compiling the alarm message and controlling the IP camera. Hardwares and softwares of all layer work together to protection of unmanned substation.
