Based on the performance and application of high damping rubber bearings this paper presents a new application field that try to apply it to the construction sector. First established the mechanical model of bearing,and then carried out the numerical analysis and experimental study,At the same time, the bearing is applied to the frame structure and analyzed the seismic isolation effect, The main research work and results are as follows:(1) Based on the application status of high damping rubber bearing in bridge isolation, the feasibility of its application in the field of building structure is put forward. High damping rubber isolator has enough vertical stiffness and horizontal stiffness and large enough lateral deformation capacity, which can support upper structure stablely and prolong the structural self vibration period, and the function of reset, and can meet the requirements of the durability of the structure during the design service life. Selected bearing mechanical model based on the material characteristics of rubber and presented the calculation method of the model parameters.(2) Using finite element analysis software ABAQUS established the finite element analysis model of high damping rubber bearings designed by bridge code and building code, and studied the basic mechanical properties, shear properties and the limit properties of the three kinds of bearings by numerical simulation.(3) In order to verify the rationality of the theoretical calculation model and the finite element analysis, the experimental study on the high damping rubber bearings is carried out, which including the test of rubber properties, the rubber hardness, uniaxial tension and compression, and the nominal stress are included, mechanical properties test of steel plate, support mechanical performance test, correlation test and ultimate performance test. The results show a high degree of consistency between numerical simulation and experimental data,and high damping rubber bearing has good energy dissipation capacity.(4)Conducted a study on the isolation performance of multilayer frame structure for 7 degree fortification intensity region with high damping rubber bearing to verify the isolation effect of the bearing in the building structure. There is a comparison of seismic response characteristics of isolated and non isolated structures considering different types of seismic waves, which analysis the acceleration, the shear force and the change of storey displacement. The results show that the high damping rubber bearings can significantly change the dynamic characteristics of frame shear structure, and prolong the natural period of the structure effectively, and have a good effect on the building structure. |
