With the development of the world automobile industry, in the face of the emergence of problems such as oil shortage, environmental pollution and other issues are becoming increasingly serious, the electric vehicle with environmental protection and energy saving having become the inevitable trend. As the mainly energy consumption of the electric vehicle, the drive system is very important for the research of energy saving.In this paper, the electric vehicle motor drive system as the main object of study, On the basis of comparing and analyzing four kinds of driving motor control methods, the simulation model of the basic operation state of electric vehicle is establish, the energy saving simulation of four wheel independent drive and the basic software and hardware design of vector control system.Firstly, this paper compare four kinds of commonly use motors and select the three-phase induction motor as the drive motor of this system. Then according to the selects motor, using simulink to set up four control methods of the induction motor, and carry on the comparison, combine the electric vehicle drive system requirements, selects the vector control as the control method. Then built a basic simulation mode. On the analysis of the force, torque, speed and so on when the electric when the electric vehicle are running, then combine with the daily driving conditions and refer to the existing automobile products in order to improve the basic model. By setting the reasonable parameters for the battery and the drive motor, realizes the three basic operation of electric vehicle simulation.Then, after implementing the drive model with single motor, extend it to the four motor independently drive. Considering it will cost large energy when the four wheel independent drive, it is necessary to research on energy saving. Make the Simulation model further optimized, and relay on the optimization method and energy-saving project application of a function, set up a simulation model for the four-wheel independent motor drive. United Simulation of GUI and the model, collect and display the simulation data, then make the conclusion that the electric vehicle how to improve the efficiency and save energy when the four-wheel independent drive.Finally, according to the basis of the drive motor model, select the DSP2812 as the control chip, design the hardware and the program of the electric vehicle control method and experiment in the lab under the low voltage and current.
